Like many women, my journey to “love the skin I’m in” has been a difficult one. It’s taken some time, but as I discover who I am spiritually, through the love of Christ, I’ve come to not only accept myself, but to embrace myself as someone who is fearfully and wonderfully made. I have purpose and it is upon accepting myself that I am able to sincerely appreciate and accept others.
I am a wife, a mother and a grandmother, who happens to be an artist. I am deeply inspired by Jesus Christ who is my Lord and Savior. I am drawn to subject matter that explores the multiple dimensions of women and how we connect with the world around us. One of my God given gifts is a desire to encourage, affirm and embrace the hearts of women who like myself, sometimes simply need a reminder that each of us are dynamic and uniquely special.
The purpose of soul positively me is to encourage a deep acceptance and appreciation of ourselves and others. If we are commanded to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, then it is important that the love we have for ourselves is healthy.
peace, love and continued blessings…
